1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address
Password (encrypted)
Name (if provided)

Uploaded Content

When you use our service, you may upload:

3D model files (STL, 3MF formats)
Product configurations and color settings
Product names and descriptions

Your 3D Files Belong to You

You retain full ownership of all 3D model files (STL, 3MF, or other formats) that you upload to Configura. We will never use, sell, distribute, share, or repurpose your uploaded files for any reason without your explicit written permission. Your files are stored solely to provide you with the customization service and are accessible only to you and the buyers you choose to share your customizers with.

Order Data

When buyers use your customizers, we collect:

Color selections and customization choices
Order codes
Timestamps

We do not collect buyer payment information - all transactions occur on your e-commerce platform (Etsy, Shopify, etc.).

Usage Information

We automatically collect:

Browser type and version
Device information
IP address
Pages visited and features used
Time and date of visits

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve our services
Process your subscription and payments
Store and serve your 3D models to your authorized customizers
Send you service-related communications
Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
Monitor and analyze usage trends
Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We use third-party services (Cloudflare for file storage, Supabase for database, Stripe for payments) that process data on our behalf.
Buyers: When you create a public customizer, buyers can view and interact with your 3D models through that customizer only.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by:

Cloudflare R2: For 3D model file storage
Supabase: For account and configuration data

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

Account data: Until you delete your account
Uploaded files: Until you delete them or your account
Order data: For 2 years after creation, or until you delete it
Usage logs: For up to 90 days

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of your data
Correct: Update or correct your information
Delete: Request deletion of your account and data
Export: Download your uploaded files at any time
Object: Object to certain processing of your data
