Welcome to Configura Studio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using Configura, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Configura provides a platform that enables sellers to:

• Upload 3D model files (STL, 3MF formats)
• Create interactive product customizers
• Allow buyers to customize colors and options
• Receive order codes for fulfillment
• Export files for 3D printing slicers

3. Your Content and Intellectual Property

Our Commitment to Your Content

We make the following commitments regarding Your Content:

• No Use Without Permission: We will never use, modify, adapt, or create derivative works from Your Content without your explicit written permission.
• No Distribution: We will never sell, license, distribute, or share Your Content with any third party, except as necessary to provide the Service to you (e.g., serving your 3D model to your buyers through your customizer).
• No Training: We will never use Your Content to train machine learning models or AI systems.
• Deletion: When you delete Your Content or your account, we will remove Your Content from our servers within 30 days.

License to Operate the Service

You grant Configura a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. This includes:

• Storing your 3D files on our servers
• Serving your files to your customizers
• Displaying previews to buyers you authorize
• Creating temporary copies for processing (e.g., format conversion)

This license terminates when you delete Your Content or your account.

Your Representations

By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to use and share the content
• Your content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Your content does not violate any laws or regulations

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to share
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or objectionable
• Upload malicious files or code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

6. Subscription and Payment

Plans and Pricing

We offer various subscription plans with different features and limits. Current pricing is available on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis
• Payment is processed through Stripe
• You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial months
• Your data remains accessible until the end of the billing period

Free Tier

We offer a free tier with limited features. Free accounts may be subject to usage limits and may be terminated after extended periods of inactivity.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Experience outages due to factors beyond our control

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM
• WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Configura and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ends immediately
• We will delete your data within 30 days (unless legally required to retain it)
• You remain responsible for any outstanding payments

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Configura.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor.
